Wall Art by Howard Elliott in Red finish Corner Abstract started out as an exercise in textures on a previously used canvas. Slowly as I added the textures, my hand started adding other colors that defined the textures better. Color tones not only enhanced the overall composition, but they lowered the temperature of the hotter deeper richer garnet tones. Thick layers of paint are hand applied to create movement and texture. Because this is an original hand painted work of art, no two pieces of art will be exactly the same. The gallery wrapped canvas is set into a floating black wood frame. Hardware is attached so the back of the art so that it is ready to hang right out of the box in either a vertical or horizontal orientation!
