One Light Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley from the Cohasset collection in Aged Brass finish Once American homes began using fixed-position candlebearing fixtures, a little after the colonial era, the curved-arm chandelier was one of the few dominant forms. Cohasset's ringed ball anchor and subtle finial are norms of these ''colonial'' chandeliers, as are its candlecups and bobeches.
